The River of Life Centennial Mural Project.

The MAC's first project was a remarkable 80-foot long mural in historic downtown Monroe depicting local underwater river life. This mural, titled "The River of Life," will serve as a regional landmark while celebrating Monroe's natural history. The mural is an educational and aesthetically pleasing point of interest for tourists, school-aged children and residents alike. It is painted on the north side of the Haight Carpet building at 207 N. Lewis Street in downtown Monroe and was painted by a professional regional artist.
