A Gilbert & Sullivan Christmas Carol pairs the plot of A Christmas Carol with satirical lyrics set to the famous Victorian melodies of Arthur Sullivan. Written and lyricized by Gayden Wren, the adaptation premiered in 1994 with the Gilbert & Sullivan Light Opera Company. It has since become a holiday staple performed by regional theater groups, community opera companies, and light opera societies worldwide.
