Set in the bustling streets of 1950s New York City, Guys and Dolls follows the intersecting lives of gamblers, showgirls, and dreamers chasing luck and love. Nathan Detroit, organizer of the city’s oldest floating craps game, is desperate to find a new location while dodging the police — and his long-suffering fiancée, Miss Adelaide, who’s been waiting 14 years for him to propose. To raise the cash he needs, Nathan bets high-roller Sky Masterson that he can’t convince straight-laced missionary Sarah Brown to go to Havana with him.
Packed with classic songs like “Luck Be a Lady,” “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat,” and “Adelaide’s Lament,” Guys and Dolls is a vibrant, funny, and heartwarming musical fable about love, faith, and the gamble of finding happiness.
