Set in 1692 Salem, Massachusetts, Arthur Miller's The Crucible is a dramatic allegory of McCarthyism focusing on a town gripped by mass hysteria. After teenage girls, led by vengeful Abigail Williams, start a witch hunt to avoid punishment, a strict court convicts innocent villagers. Farmer John Proctor battles to save his wife from accusations, and ultimately must choose between false confession and death.

As with all After Dark productions, this is a fundraiser. All profits will go to the Washington Immigrant Solidarity Networkto support our friends and neighbors.

Two performances only - April 25th and May 2nd.
